Evaluation

 EVALUATION

throughout my projects, I have always written my evaluations at the end of my project, almost like a summary of what I have done and how I could've developed my final piece more. For this FMP I would like to keep my evaluation like a logbook for what I have done. I believe this will be better as it will benefit from being more specific.

10TH - 20TH MARCH 2021

Today is the start of the project. I have developed all of my blog pages and have now started to begin the ideas page. Within the ideas page, I have explained thoroughly the three ideas that I had and how I narrowed them down to one specific idea. On the ideas page, I have also created a ''plan B'': this is essentially a plan which I will use if my plans for Plan A cannot be done due to coronavirus.

The ideas page had clearly outlined what ideas I had for that specific project and why I chose one. Because I was doing a short film I also wanted to start planning early. This is because I wanted a detailed script that had time to be changed and moulded. I believed that producing the script before doing the research would've benefitted me more because I would of been allowed more time to rectify certain areas if necessary.

24th MARCH 2021

For today's evaluation, I came into college to learn about the exposure triangle. We were told about how to make our shots look more interesting with the use of aperture and matching it with the shutter speed to be able to shots that have a strong focus with foreground and background. I have enjoyed learning about the shutter speed and the balance between having a higher speed, which will allow less light into the camera and a slower speed will let in more light. You have to make sure that you have a good balance between both of these things to get some interesting shots.
